Voorwinden Groep is building its own future, both in The Netherlands and Canada.

"Building yourself remains very special"

It has already been seven months since the Voorwinden Groep laid the first brick under the watchful eye of employees and family. The company has been completely transferred to the new location. "We have no shortage of projects this year, but building ourselves remains special."

The new construction is only a couple of hundred meters from the old building, but the differences are great. "We have much more space now to store all our machines. A complete new work shop with overhead travelling crane, to make maintaining our machines even easier. The cleaning of the machines has also been thought of by installing a double spray pit under a roof. Furthermore, the canteen and office spaces have been made extra large so there is room for growth. And to become more energy neutral, like our customers, we will cover the building with solar panels to be self-sufficient, and still return 75% of the energy to the grid."

The cooperation with Havecon Kassenbouw has been lifted to a higher level by this step, according to the Voorwinden Groep. "The buildings are next to each other, improving cooperation and efficiency."

Building impression from Canada, where the shed is 'under construction'.

And there is more good news, because they have not only been working hard in Bleiswijk, but also in Canada they are working hard at the moment. "We are also building a 2000 m2 shed in Canada, with office space, to better serve the local market in Canada, and to organize our machines and materials better. It is being built in Blenheim, where we are perfectly situated to serve all our customers in Ontario, Quebec, and North-America. We will also have plenty of material in stock to provide an even better service in North America." The Voorwinden Groep cannot wait for 2019.
