Premier Tech represented the Bas-Saint-Laurent region to the Prix Créateurs d’emplois du Québec 2018 Gala, where the company received an award in the “Champion” category. This award was created to honour companies from all around Quebec who, through their efforts to create and maintain quality jobs, contribute to their region’s growth, for the benefit of the whole province.
More than 122 new jobs were created by Premier Tech in Quebec during the qualification period, compared to 304 worldwide. Today, Premier Tech has 169 positions to fill worldwide, out of which 92 are new jobs.
“The intention behind this substantial job creation is to find people who will secure our ability to fulfil our commitments to our clients throughout the world," explains Jean Bélanger, president and chief operating officer. "Our team members are the ones who allow us to keep making a difference for our clients every day, while seizing the growth opportunities we identify.”
Premier Tech aims to reach $1 billion in revenue by 2020 and will need to recruit 500 new team members to achieve that goal. To prepare itself to rise up to this staffing challenge, the company recently dedicated a whole team to talent attraction. This team is currently touring the province to promote the company and meet potential candidates for a broad range of fields such as engineering, computer science, accounting and organizational development.
