Marapharm, a public company with substantial medical and adult-use cannabis assets in the United States and Canada, has changed its name to Liht.
The company’s common shares are expected to commence trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the new symbol “LIHT” on or about October 25th, 2018. The company will keep its U.S. and European shareholders advised by news release of changes to their market’s ticker symbol.
To complement the name change the company has a new logo which they say has a broader appeal and signifies the historical spark which has been ignited and will never be extinguished after years of prohibition.
“The name Liht Cannabis Corp. will have a broader appeal, scalability and provide long-term branding in this emerging cannabis market”, said Linda Sampson, President and CEO.
