Russia: New greenhouse complex opens in Chechnya

A greenhouse complex of 0.4 ha has started operating in the village of Novy-Sharoy in the Achkhoy-Martanovsky region. The head of the region, Mr. Tamerlan Huchiev reported about the fact.

The complex has been built using Korean technology and it has 42 greenhouse units enabling year-round vegetable cultivation, and allowing for the creation of 15 employment positions. The complex is aimed at year-round growing of tomatoes and cucumbers, the monthly harvest is planned to reach 5 tons. The produce will be sold locally.
