How-to guide offered for Farm-to-Institution initiatives

Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) and Health Care Without Harm have released Farm Fresh Healthcare Project How-To Guide as a 16-page PDF publication. This guide presents insights from the Farm Fresh Healthcare Project, in which 10 family farmers have been selling produce to six Bay Area hospitals since 2011, in hopes of providing guidance for other farm-to-institution initiatives.

The guide presents lessons learned from the project, based on a series of eleven interviews with project participants, quantitative data reflecting the project's progress, and the expertise of the coordinating staff.
