GLOBALG.A.P. calls producers to apply for the G.A.P Awards 2014

After the great success of the G.A.P. Awards 2012 and 2013, GLOBALG.A.P. is pleased to announce the third edition of the Good Agricultural Practice Awards. The G.A.P. Awards 2014 merit producers who have achieved outstanding results through their commitment to GLOBALG.A.P. principles.

The G.A.P. Awards 2014 is open to all GLOBALG.A.P. IFA Standard certified farmers and farmer groups, as well as any programs involving one or more certified farmers.

This year’s G.A.P. Awards 2014 will focus on four specific areas:

Responsible Water Use
Increasing Biodiversity
Social Responsibility
Role & Involvement of Women/Youth

The application period started on 15 March and ends on 15 July 2014.
