This week saw the official start of the Trial Center Tomato. All varieties are now being harvested, allowing visitors the opportunity to view the complete assortment of tomatoes.
In total, 82 varieties can be seen in the demo, of which around 30 are new ones. The range of Rijk Zwaan has also developed in all segments this year. "We are ready," says demo administrator Leo van Meurs.
"In the presentation room, we now have eggplants, cucumbers and peppers. Growers, retailers and other interested parties in the chain can now get a good impression of our crops. Especially for international visitors, it is useful to combine vegetables."
