New growth analysis system also welcome in Eastern Europe

Over the last few years, Polish greenhouse cultivation has been taking important steps forward. In Europe, the Polish tomato growers are one of the few who were able to make some good profits in the cultivation of greenhouse tomatoes. Growers refitted their operations or invested in new high tech structures and are looking forward to improve their productions. In some cases the growers also show interest in implementing innovative systems like Paskal's Growth Analysis System. According to Paskal's Michel de Winter, the Growth Analysis System can become a perfect instrument for growers to raise their production.

Last week De Winter visited several Polish greenhouse growers in the area around Kalisz. Speaking to modern tomato growers together with a greenhouse consultant, De Winter learned that the growers show interest in improving their productions with innovative technology. "Polish greenhouse horticulture has significantly improved over the last few years as growers are using modern technology. Production costs are not a big issue, but the growers simply want to reach higher production levels. Our Growth Analysis System will be a handy tool for them to improve their yields and crops by experimenting with new cultivation strategies."

But not only in Poland is the Growth Analysis System gaining popularity. Last year growers in the United States and The Netherlands started to use the system in their greenhouse. "Also in the Netherlands we have experienced a lot of interest in our system since we officially launched it last year. Growers Seasun and Van de Bosch are using it in their nurseries and we visit them every two weeks to give them the optimal support. Other growers hear about this from them, or they have seen it at a seminar or in the media. The system is unique and catches the attention of growers because of the possibilities to have direct analysis for every change in your strategy settings."

De Winter furthermore added that the system will now also be used at the LED trials at the GreenQ Improvement Centre in The Netherlands. "After this trial the concept will also become a part of the Digital Growing Trials at GreenQ."
