Harvest Automation shows how robots can help wholesale growers

On Tuesday March 4th Harvest Automation held a very successful open house on the west coast. Approximately 25 growers from the area attended and witnessed 6 robots moving 5 gallon roses in an actual production environment. The backdrop to this event was tens of thousands of spaced roses all done by robots in the past weeks.

Another demonstration will be held at Flowerwood Nursery Loxley, AL on April 3, 2014 from 2-4 P.M. Area growers are invited to see the Harvest Automation HV-100 robots perform in a real production setting. The HV-100 plant handling robots perform all the spacing, collection and consolidation tasks required by wholesale growers for the production of plants in 6" to 12" containers. Flowerwood Nursery and Harvest Automation staff will be onsite to answer questions and demonstrate how the robots are productive, simple to use and how they meet the challenges of a real-world nursery.
