Plant Products USA will begin serving their US customers from our location at 39035 Webb Drive in Westland Michigan in the coming months. The 12,000 square-foot facility will be the first company-owned warehouse in the US.
“The facility fulfills our long-term goal of having our own building to serve and support our customers,” explained Chris Stickles, president of Plant Products. “We’ve also established our own truck fleet for regional coverage.”
“We’ve hired on additional staff for this new facility,” stated Rob Lee, general manager of Plant Products USA. “We expect this branch to be the model of our Canadian facilities, which have helped us serve the US market for over 10 years.”
Established in 1941, Plant Products is a horticultural distribution company specializing in plant nutrition, crop protection products, including beneficial insects and biopesticides, greenhouse vegetable seeds, as well as unique product lines such as Mardenkro shade paints. Their staff of technical sales representatives are all graduates of horticultural universities.
Plant Products is planning to be operational at this new facility in September.
