"It has been an honor to work for Jay Vroom and help him guide this great organization over the last 10 years, and I am extremely proud of the value our CLA team has created for our members,” stated Kuckuck. “I’ve been blessed to work among some of the best in the industry, and nothing is more gratifying than being able to make a difference in the lives of all involved. This is the right time for me personally, and for CLA, to transition to the next generation of leadership. The association is well positioned for future success with very capable people, a solid foundation, and exciting growth prospects.”
Jay Vroom reflected on the contributions made by Kuckuck saying, “Bill brought a wealth of experience and agricultural expertise to CLA that took industry messaging to the next level. From his early days growing up in Wisconsin surrounded by good cheese curd, great beer and family farming to working in the poultry, livestock feed and pet food industries, Bill was able to use his unique perspective to help translate a narrative that is often complex and easily misunderstood, into something the average person could grasp.” Vroom continued, “We appreciate his dedication over the past 10 years and I know the staff will continue to build on the engaging initiatives he spearheaded into the future. We wish him well in his retirement and as a final thank you, I would like to say just this once -- Go Badgers!”
