New software to create hydroponic nutrient formulas

“Nutrient Pro Hydro is a powerful tool for all levels of hydroponic growers,” explained Andrew Olley, the software developer and director at Myriad International. “It is suited to small hobby growers using pre-mixed liquids through to commercial operations running large nutrient systems sourcing powder, granular and liquid fertilisers.”

The Nutrient Pro Hydro software is also aimed at distributors, researchers, consultants and manufacturers in the hydroponic space worldwide.

Written as a Microsoft Excel based application, it is easy to jump in and get started with formula creation.

“However, there are a large number of options and scenarios to satisfy sophisticated users,” added Mr Olley. “This underlies the significant commercial and technical expertise that went into the development of Nutrient Pro Hydro.”

The software is pre-loaded with more than 50 hydroponic ingredients covering solids, powders, liquids and micronutrients. Additional products can be added by the user. Similarly, 20 commercial hydroponic formulas are pre-loaded with the ability to add many more.

The user selects the products to use, specific holding tank volumes (up to five tanks) and chooses dose rate per tank to supply specific nutrient levels. As products, tank volumes, dose rates and product quantities are entered, users will see live adjustments of final nutrient strength per element.

An explanation of all Nutrient Pro Hydro’s capabilities can be found at www.nutrientpro.net. For a limited time a free trial can be downloaded.
