A major greenhouse complex for mushroom growing is planned for construction in the Lipetsk region, the administration of the region reports.
Currently, negotiations on handing over the land plot to the project investors are carried out. A land plot of 100 ha was chosen within the borders of the villages of Elets-Lazovka and Novoe Dubovoe.
The greenhouse complex will produce mushrooms and oyster mushrooms. Construction will begin in September 2018, reports news agency Lipetskmedia. Earlier the Deputy Head of the Lipetsk region administration, Mr. Nikolay Tagintsev, announced the possibility of year-round mushroom cultivation of up to 25 thousand tons by 2020.
