CAN (QC): 6 ha tomato greenhouse nears completion

In November 2017, Havecon started working on the foundations for Le Serres Sagami, located in Mirabel, Quebec. Here they are building a complete 6 hectares organic tomato greenhouse expansion. The foundation work was completed before winter and they returned in early spring to start with the steel construction. Construction work on the project is nearing the end.

The greenhouse is almost completed with a low iron diffused glass roof, energy screens and roll up walls. Also included is a new bio mass boiler heating system with a natural gas back up. With the completion of this greenhouse, Sagami will increase their market presence and continue to be one of Quebec's largest producers of organic tomatoes.
