Austria: Organic cucumber rarities sold exclusively by Merkur

The Austrian vegetable season has started. This year Ja! Natürlich once again brings cucumber rarities exclusively to the shelves of selected MERKUR branches. Until the end of August, the twelve different cucumber specialities from Austria are available - from small to large, from dark green to creamy white, from short and oval to long and ribbed and from aromatic-sweet to melon-like. The Ja! Natürlich cucumber rarities are packed in compostable, wood-based cellulose.

They come from the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel region, where organic farmer Erwin Binder developed the twelve different varieties according to the strict Ja! Natürlich organic farming guidelines. The rarities available have names like "Lemon", "Miniature White", "Ameliore Bourbonne" or "Arola".

"Our rarities not only ensure diversity in varieties, but also provide enjoyment for very special moments. We are extremely pleased to be able to launch the start of the Austrian vegetable season with our range of rarities, hoping for a long and fruitful cucumber season," says Martina Hörmer, Managing Director of Ja! Natürlich. The Ja! Natürlich cucumber rarities can be found in selected MERKUR stores until the end of August for €2.99.
