China and Israel cooperate in agricultural industrial park

The Sonic Agricultural High-tech Co., Ltd., an Israeli company located in Nanyang, the Neixiang County government, and the Muyuan Group have all joined to invest 130 million yuan [20.2 million USD] in the creation of a high-tech industrial park. They have already invested 30 million yuan [4.7 million USD] at this stage, and have finished the construction of five energy-conservative, AI-operated, climate-controlled halls; eight coolhouses; as well as four open-field demonstration plantations that produce small and large tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, cauliflower, and bell peppers.

This industrial park currently is China's most advanced domestic industrial park, as well as being Henan's largest agricultural industrial park where China and Israel cooperate. This project officially began when both parties signed an agreement in June, 2016, and they opened the park less than two years later. The next step is a further expansion of the plantation area, as well as the importation of Sonic technologies for fruit plantations, grape wine production, milk cow breeding, and milk product processing.
