What would you say is the most important topic in horticulture at the moment?
there are two most important topics at the moment, Climate change and world population growth. Those topics are and will impact our way of working and thinking for the future.
Greentech is one of the most important event for the horticulture industry with visitors from all over the world. It is the right place to present people our company and our product range. This year, we’ll present for the first time our Eclipse LD² shading product for sun sensitive crops and will also have a specific focus on our shading paints that wear off gradually with no need to clean. This event is also a good place to meet our actual distributors and discuss opportunities with new ones for specific areas. We will also spend time to look at others stands and meet others company and people working within the horticulture industry.
Any person wanting to discover more about Sudlac or our products will be welcomed on our stand 10.419
Globally, we are focusing on supporting growers all around the world for greenhouses light management in order to protect their crop. Not only Highly technical growers but also emergent country growers and specific areas growers with different problems to solve and needs.
For many growers around the world, cleaning their greenhouses is time consuming and difficult to do. By developing a technical product range that wears off gradually, we do want to offer these growers a proper solution for protecting their crop with no need to clean.
We are also proud of our Eclipse LD² product, offering a solution to a local problem. Understanding the need of lamb’s lettuce growers within Nantes area (Ouest of France), our R&D department has been developing this shading product for sun sensitive crops. Offering a more stable high rate of shading protection, Eclipse LD²allows to grow these crops under drier soil conditions that prevent diseases like Thielaviopsis fungus. Eclipse LD2 has become the standard for lettuce growers in France and has been introduced in Italy this year. We plan to study more local areas problems to offer growers proper solutions.
