Enroot Products acquires Triumph Plant

Enroot Products LLC, has recently acquired the assets of Triumph Plant, a longtime provider of retail garden products, many devoted to introducing gardening to children and licensed by Crayola.

Other products include seeded paper products that can be planted after use (wrapping paper) or used as flower border, butterfly garden, conservation garden or bird garden. Triumph Plant deployed successful impulse purchase products to garden retailers for 40 years. Enroot looks forward to promoting the fun and colorful line through retailers to gardeners both young and old.

“The enthusiasm of the Enroot team is truly breathing new life into our favorite products and combine nicely with their existing product range” says Jim Johansen, former CEO of Triumph Plant.

Sam Ahilan, Enroot CEO, agrees and said, “The contacts and agreements with existing retailers should benefit Enroot product launches as well. All in all the acquisition is win-win.”

Mr. Johansen will stay on with Triumph throughout the transition.

Part of the purchase included the seeding paper technology and machinery which Enroot intends to use to create several new seeded products, with their eye on the emerging microgreen market.

Enroot Products is a part of the FibreDust family of companies. They produce innovative retail garden products including the Seed Stitcher, SpongEase Coco Coir Potting Soil, GreenEase Microgreen Seed Pads, and RootEase Poly Root Pruning Pots.
