The Priva Academy is a free online education service which offers the possibility to learn more about the different aspects of irrigation, climate, energy, labour and production processes in a horticultural, indoor and building environment. It is designed for all growers worldwide, the Priva partner network and the Priva employees worldwide to learn more about the horticulture domain on a basic level, whenever, wherever. It is a platform of knowledge which offers the possibility to have contact with instructors and other participants. It also provides insight information into the way Priva products work in practice.
Benefits
With the Priva Academy participants don’t need to travel to learn more on domain level and product level knowledge. Everyone can work at his or her own pace and courses can be taken anytime and anywhere. Managers obtain inside information about the learning progress and level of knowledge of their team of engineers. It helps your company to stay up-to-date, by always having access to the newest features.
The Priva Academy contributes to Priva’s mission: “By sharing knowledge as efficient as possible and by using less natural resources like energy, we are creating a climate for growth. “With the Priva Academy, we help our partners and customers to reduce (32 Ton) CO2 emissions and save on overhead costs 1.2 Mio.”
Priva Academy is one of the nominees for the GreenTech Innovation Award 2018 and is selected for the Impact Award. An expert jury selected 22 nominees from all entries in four categories. Besides the Priva Academy, the Priva Moisture Balance Module has been selected for the Sustainability Award and Priva Compass for the overall Innovation Award. The Innovation Awards will be presented during the official opening on Tuesday 12 June 2018. GreenTech will take place from 12 – 14 June 2018 at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
