Greenhouses with strawberries may appear on two production units’ rooftops in Naberezhnye Chelny. The project will attempt to acquire the status of a territory of advanced social and economic development (TASED) resident.
“We are reclaiming new territories now, 6 ha where we have built two production units. One of them is for the Chishme company, I assume it will be launched by June. Our main target is to use the territory at its full capacity, that’s why we are simultaneously working on another project”, said Mr. Ilmir Valliulin, executive director of Chishme company, the resident of TASED.
According to him, the company will install the greenhouse for vegetable growth: cucumbers and tomatoes on a part of land unoccupied by the production of Chishme. With that, tomatoes will be used for juice production.
“At the same time we are preparing a project on developing a greenhouse complex on the roofs of our buildings. We want to grow strawberries in order to achieve maximum land productivity”, added Mr. Valliulin.
It is worth noting that the new project will be developed by another legal entity. The strawberry project is also planned to make a part of TASED. The investment volume has not been announced yet.
