Networking event: 'Feeding the World Together'

Are you an (agri) entrepreneur with international activities or ambitions? Would you like to speed date with agri & food specialists of Dutch embassies and foreign trade officers in the Netherlands of more than 60 countries? Then join this unique event that will take place on 20 June in Utrecht. You will also be informed about food security, urban food supply, water and other agriculture developments.

This event is a special partnership of the ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), Rabobank, and the Trade Counsellor Network of foreign embassies in the Netherlands.

The programme will kick off with minister Carola Schouten (tbc) and Chairman of the Managing Board Rabobank Wiebe Draijer (tbc) and short introductions about the business opportunities in food security themes. Also 3 panel discussions will be held with experts from business, science and government around 3 key themes:
  • Food Waste
  • Feeding the Cities
  • Climate Change & the challenge of efficient Water Use in Agriculture
The 2nd part of the afternoon is dedicated to speed dating. In 2 rounds and with 2 regions of your choice, you will get the opportunity to meet the agri & food specialists of the Dutch embassies in the Netherlands, country experts of Rabobank, trade officers of foreign embassies in the Netherlands and representatives of the ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. The event will be closed with network drinks and a walking dinner.
