serres ouvertes May 23rd to 26th

French greenhouses open doors

For the third consecutive year, French growers open the doors of their greenhouses and welcome visitors to explain all about the company, the way of production and the combination of nature and technology being made in the greenhouse.

The event is named Serres Ouvertes. Within 2 weeks (May 23rd to 26th) 22 growers of tomatoes and cucumbers from several regions will open their doors. "The perfect time to understand how tomatoes and cucumbers grow in a greenhouse and to ask a grower everything about those two vegetables", the organizers of the event, growers organisation Les producteurs de tomates et concombres de France, explain.

This organisation works broadly on the reputation and knowledge of horticulture, by publishing regular videos online and updating consumers via social media on the benefits of greenhouse cultivation.
