US (OH): Rep. Steve Chabot visits 80 Acres Farms

U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot, who has represented Ohio's First Congressional District for 20 years visited 80 Acres Farms, an indoor farm located in his native city of Cincinnati. Rep. Chabot currently serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business. He has made small business growth and job creation a top priority throughout his career. “They’re the engine of our economy. Cincy startups fuel not only my hometown’s local economy-but our nation’s,” Chabot tweeted earlier this week.

Chabot toured the facility, which houses microgreen, leafy green and culinary herb grow-zones as well as the first in the world, completely controlled environment, indoor vine crop room that supplies cucumbers and tomatoes to local retailers and restaurants.
