Germany: First tomatoes harvested from 11-hectare greenhouse

At Werder Frucht, the harvest season of the most popular German vegetable variety has begun. At the sites in Eiche, Fretzdorf and Wollup in the state of Brandenburg, the first aromatic tomatoes, vine tomatoes and date-cherry tomatoes of Werder Frucht are harvested on approx. 11 hectares. From week 16 onwards, cherry tomatoes will be part of this harvest as well.

The philosophy of Werder Frucht has matured through its extensive experience with fruit and vegetable cultivation. Today we strive to offer fresh, high quality goods for all. The success of Werder Frucht GmbH is based on two fruitful guidelines: the integrated cultivation of fruit and vegetables and a high standard of service. All Werder Frucht products have one thing in common: their natural taste and great freshness!
