Levarht visits ChildsLife greenhouses in Kenya

International non-profit organisation ChildsLife has been cooperating with Levarht from De Kwakel since recently. As part of their sponsor policy, which promotes healthy food and a healthy lifestyle for children, Levarht shares their expertise in greenhouse growing with ChildsLife.

ChildsLife places greenhouses near schools and communities in Kenya to help the population to live independently. The greenhouses offer a structural source of food and income, and to optimize production, the cooperation with Levarht has been initiated.

Tour and Workshop
The working visit of Arjan Levarht of Levarht and Paul Zantman, tomato grower at growers association Van Nature, consisted of a tour around the various greenhouse in ChildsLife projects and a workshop for local growers. The gentlemen awaited a very warm welcome and their advise, knowledge, seeds and materials were welcomed with open eyes. They were very positive about the ChildsLife's greenhouse program. Arjan: "a very impressive, surprising and special experience which hopefully gets a proper and useful follow up, to which I hope to contribute."
