John Walters joins Ridder HortiMaX North America as sales manager

John Walters has an extensive background in Domestic and International Business with a focus on Hydroponics, Horticulture and Agriculture. With that he has a prestigious 40-year history of establishing and building companies within these fields. As President of Svensson Americas and Lock Drives Inc, these companies have flourished under his management, vision, leadership and creative ideas.

"John is adept at doing business domestically as well as internationally. He loves to be involved in projects and has a keen eye for detail and a drive for getting things done right", the Ridder HortimaX team explains. "He has had close ties to a number of Universities over the years, helping them with various programs as well as learning from the Universities to keep him on the cutting edge of his field."

John, a native Californian, twenty year resident of North Carolina and now resides in the suburbs outside of Houston, Texas. He and his wife, Deborah, have been married for 43 years and have three children and five grandchildren whom are the loves of their lives. John is an avid cyclist and rides 2500 to 3000 miles per year with an annual goal to raise money for the MS foundation. Travels have taken him all over North America, parts of South America, and most of Western Europe.

John will manage the Ridder Drive Systems and Ridder Climate Screens business in the North American region: United States and Canada.
