On the afternoon of 25 February, agents of the Guardia Civil in Almeria arrested L.J.R., 38 years of age and resident in Roquetas de Mar, as the presumed perpetrator of a crime of theft with force committed in a greenhouse located in the municipality of Roquetas. The thief has also been held responsible for a total of 4 robberies in various greenhouse farms in the area.
On this occasion, thanks to citizen collaboration and the rapid action of the Guardia Civil, it was possible to prevent the detainee from carrying out the robbery, surprising him inside the farm.
The man, identified as L.J.R., admitted having entered the greenhouse to steal boxes of peppers, and that on previous days, he had broken into other greenhouse farms in order to steal several other products.
