Pakistan: University inaugurates hydroponics unit

Federal Minister for Water Resources, Syed Javed Ali Shah on Sunday inaugurated the first hydroponic unit, established at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) in Pakistan.

The federal minister inspected the hydroponic unit, which is the process of growing plants in sand, gravel, or liquid, with added nutrients but without soil during the seminar on the importance of food security and pulses.

Renowned international scientists delivered lectures on the importance of food.
