CAN (AB): Aeroponics MMJ grower appoints President and COO

Thrive Growing announced the appointment of Mr. Charles Ramsey as President and COO, effective November 14th, 2017. Mr. Ramsey was the founder and former CEO of Agrisoft Development Group LLC., a regulatory compliance software provider to the licit cannabis industry. Mr. Ramsey is a seasoned entrepreneur, starting several successful health care and IT service companies, who previously managed sales and marketing efforts for Fortune 500 companies. Chairman of Thrive Growing Inc., Douglas James said “We are very excited to bring on board a proven leader who understands the full breadth of the cannabis industry to quarterback the Thrive Growing team”.

Thrive Growing Inc., with its Terrace Garden aeroponic cannabis growing technology and comprehensive CannaFactory production systems, is positioned to become a leading provider of advanced cultivation technology and services to the cannabis industry. Thrive Growing was specifically created to commercialize Terrace Garden technology in the cannabis industry. Terrace Garden technology has its roots in vertical farming where, over more than a 10-year period, Thrive Growing’s parent company, Verdant Global Inc., perfected and patented advanced aeroponic growing systems for fruit and vegetables, then adapted them for growing cannabis. Thrive Growing’s CannaFactory production systems were originally developed by Verdant Global for high volume production with low operating and labor costs, then successfully adapted to the requirements of the cannabis industry. Thrive Growing has assembled a team of seasoned professionals from both horticulture and cannabis to bring Terrace Garden aeroponic technology to the cannabis industry. Thrive Growing Inc. is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
