Greenhouse vegetable planting in Tibet

Have you ever wondered how they grow veggies in Tibet? Well, wonder no more. The Ministry of Agriculture of China has posted a few pictures, showing how Tibetans are planting greenhouse vegetables.


Villagers clean a vegetable greenhouse in Xiemai Village of Dengqen County in Qamdo, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Nov. 4, 2017. Local government developed greenhouse vegetable planting industry in its poverty alleviation work in recent years. They organized professional planting and operation management training for farmers and herdsmen. The project has lifted 66 people of 17 families out of poverty through greenhouse vegetable planting.
