Spanish police discover 6 hectares of marijuana in Almeria

Now that the Dutch have announced their plans to start with regulated cannabis production, a couple of smart Spanish 'ganjapreneurs' must have had the idea to stay ahead of the curve by establishing a year round supply chain.

Good intentions, but perhaps a bit too soon, because marijuana still seems to be illegal in Spain and can cause you trouble. Especially when cultivating 41,500 plants in 4 greenhouses on a total of 6 hectares.

The Spanish police discovered the illegal plantation in Nijar after complaints of suspicious odor in the area. A man of 52 was arrested. The Spanish police speaks of the largest ever found marijuana greenhouse in Almeria. Have a look at the video of the Spanish police.
