Illumitex, Inc. announces the launch of a wireless control system for the Power Harvest product family. The control system will provide a solution to growers looking for more control over the light intensity delivered to their plants and the ability to monitor power consumption.
The Dimming Node is an intelligent wireless lighting controller that provides light monitoring with utility‐grade power monitoring. Each Dimming Node provides smart on/off switching, dimming control from 0‐10 and constant status monitoring to track wattage consumption or voltage levels of the LED fixtures.

The Illumitex wireless lighting control gives growers the ability to adjust light levels without compromising output. This system requires minimal power to turn the fixture back on giving the grower an energy efficient way to control the lights’ production even if he is away for the grow.
The Gateway, which comes with three antennas, can create a connection to smart phones, tablets or PCs. The system stores power data, zones, alarms, behaviors and critical events locally for maintenance and troubleshooting. It also provides municipal compliance via daily schedules, sensor‐controlled behaviors and multiple dimming levels. The Gateway controller has various applications depending on the production facility and crop.
