US: Deadline approaches for plant science student video contest

Students planning to submit videos for the Better Seed, Better Life student video contest have about one week left until the August 31 deadline. Sponsored by the American Seed Trade Association, along with the National Association of Plant Breeders and the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America and Soil Science Society of America (Tri-Societies), the contest is part of an effort to bring plant breeding innovation, and the many sectors of the plant sciences that play a role in the plant breeding arena, to life through the next generation of plant scientists.
