Plant-Prod is launching a new brand of products tailored to each stage of cannabis production. The five formulations will be available for medical marijuana growers in Canada:
- Plant-Prod MJ Boost for seedling germination and bud setting
- Plant-Prod MJ Grow for the vegetative growth stage
- Plant-Prod MJ Cal Kick for rotation during the vegetative growth stage and during bud setting
- Plant-Prod MJ Bloom for optimal bud sizing during weeks 5 through 10
- Plant-Prod MJ Finisher for final bud filling up to two weeks before harvest
The Plant-Prod MJ Production Program explains the stages of growth and feeding requirements. As with all high value crops, the formulation should be adjusted to account for the characteristics of the irrigation water and growing medium. “Growers need to use the appropriate formulation for each growth stage. The first step is always to perform an analysis of the water and soil,” explains the company's sales and marketing manager “We will provide advice to commercial growers on how to optimize formulations as well as provide referrals to plant scientists in our dealer network who have specialist expertise.”
