November 22-24, Bristol

UK: Nuffield announces annual conference

This year’s Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust annual conference is being held at the Marriott Central Hotel in Bristol, from 22 to 24 November 2017, and delegates are being reminded to book their tickets early.

The two-day conference will bring together 18 Nuffield Scholars, who have spent the past year and a half researching and travelling the globe, with an aim to further advance the British farming industry.

Delegates will hear from inspirational Scholars on a wide array of topics including everything from herbicide resistant weeds and automating the dairy farmer, to improving farm safety and best practice in cherry production.

The incoming group of 2018 Scholars will also be officially awarded with their Scholarships and the annual dinner will take place after the first day of presentations on Thursday 23 November.

The event is being billed as the perfect opportunity for prospective applicants to speak to Scholars from a broad range of year groups and gain a first-hand insight into the Scholarship experience and what it entails.

For more information and to book your place, visit www.nuffieldscholar.net/annual-conference/exhibition or call the Nuffield office on 01460 234012.
