This year’s edition, just like last years, was fully booked. Participants from all over the world travelled to Wageningen to learn more about phenotyping. The summer school is organized by Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and the University of Nottingham with support from IPPN, Phenomenall Cost and several sponsors.
The course leaders Gerrit Polder and Rick van de Zedde together with lecturers from the University of Nottingham, WUR and guest speakers from several companies, provided a diverse programme regarding the following subjects:
- Images and image quality
- Noise and noise removal
- Segmentation
- Multi- and hyperspectral imaging
- Machine learning
- 3D imaging
- Open session and case studies
Course leader Rick van de Zedde: “What inspires me most are the interactive sessions; new and refreshing insights emerge, because of the different disciplines of the participants and teachers from industry and academia”.
