Dutch greenhouse builder pops up in 'Guptaleaks'

Dutch companies are also involved in the South African Guptaleaks. The South African ambassador in the Netherlands, Bruce Koloane, has lobbied for the Gupta family at Dutch companies. One of them is a Dutch greenhouse construction company, South African magazine Daily Maverick reports.

The case concerns the South African / Indian Guptafamily . They should have accumulated their power and companies by artifice and fraud. In the end, they also wanted to get involved in the Netherlands and in horticulture. Ambassador Bruce Koloane did arrange a number of appointments for this purpose. One of them was with greenhouse builder KGP. The South Africans wanted to take over a majority of the Maasland company, but KGP was not willing to sell.

In view of the Dutch mentality, they preferred to collaborate on research of market opportunities in South African horticulture. This again did not fit the plans of the Gupta family. South African media are not able to provide examples of actual trade between both companies.
