Conviron announces ASPB Conviron Scholars Program

Conviron has announced a partnership with the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) in delivering the 2017-18 ASPB Conviron Scholars Program. The program is aimed at supporting the next generation of plant scientists by helping students build their foundation for a successful career.

The program selects 20 exceptional Undergraduate and Graduate students studying Plant Biology and delivers a year-long experience which includes 1-year membership in ASPB, free registration to one ASPB regional section meeting, discounted registration to the Plant Biology Annual meeting, online access to ASPB research in The Plant Cell and Plant Physiology, as well as career mentoring and other career building opportunities. Applications for the program will be available starting from the upcoming annual Plant Biology meeting in Hawaii, June 24-28, 2017.

“The next generation of researchers are critical to advancing the field of plant science and the ASPB Conviron Scholar’s Program is an excellent way for Conviron to play a role in their growth and development” said Steve Kroft, Conviron’s President & CEO.
