Webinar Climate Smart Agriculture: California & Netherlands

The California Department of Food and Agriculture, in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, United States Department of Agriculture, University of California, Davis and Wageningen University will be co-hosting a joint webinar on climate smart agriculture.

The webinar will focus its discussion on possible business opportunities between the two regions and the role of emerging technologies related to greenhouse horticulture. Potential topics will include the use of hydroponics, energy-efficient LED lightening, resource use efficiency, automation and the role of regulations.

The webinar will be held on June 22, 2017:
  • California from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (PST);
  • Netherlands from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (CEST);
  • Washington, DC, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
