Netherlands: First glass is in for Schenkeveld at Schiphol

Wednesday was a very special day for the founders of Schenkeveld, Jan and Peter Schenkeveld. Together they placed the first glass panel on the first block of the project in Rijsenhout. For the project, Codema B-E de Lier is responsible for the Water Management.

Other companies that work on the Schenkeveld project are KUBO, Grondwerkbedrijf Westland and Kandelaar Elektrotechniek. The construction can soon be followed on a digital board that's currently being developed.

The office space of around 1 ha is currently being constructed, as is 1 of the 4 greenhouses. The company is being built in the shape of a four-leaf clover. The northern greenhouse is currently being built, and in 2018 the East greenhouse will be erected. After that, one new greenhouse will follow each year. Each greenhouse is 11 hectares.
