Australia: Valoya LED door prize at APEX-Brinkman PCA Conference

After several articles in which we highlighted the potential of the Australian greenhouse industry, you should be convinced by now to attend the upcoming APEX-Brinkman PCA Conference in Adelaide, July 9-12. If not, then the recently announced door prize will. Thanks to the support of Valoya, the organization will organize a draw in which you can win 8 bar lengths of Valoya’s B-series B200 AP673L LEDs, valued at $6,000.

One day paid registration will give you one ticket for the draw and 2 days of paid registration will even give you two tickets for the draw. Complementary delegates are not eligible for the contest.

The APEX-Brinkman PCA Conference is an ideal event to compare growing systems, prices and packages for commercial hydroponic greenhouse and aquaponic growing systems. Over 450 delegates are expected in attendance to explore 67 trade show exhibition booths, join informative guest speaker sessions and participate in nightly networking festivities.

Click here for a previous article in which Job Roskam of Brinkman Australia highlights the potential investment climate in the Australian greenhouse industry. "Australia is home to a well-established greenhouse industry with plenty of opportunities. Especially on the food production side."

In a more recent article we spoke with PCA Chairman Robert Hayes of Freshzest, who's forecasting investments in high tech cropping as a result of increasing wage costs. "We are looking at labor-saving devices and technology. Think about automated harvesting as well as moving gullies etcetera. A greenhouse is a good environment to deploy automation and mechanization as you have advantages like boiler pipes over which efficient robotics can run."
