US (NY): Optimal health and productivity in high tunnel tomatoes

Long-term organic high tunnel soil health and fertility management is challenging. This field day will discuss best management practices for growing tomatoes in a high tunnel, especially early and peak season management practices. Seth Jacobs of Slack Hollow Farm will share his experiences with tomatoes and how he successfully manages a high tunnel from a long term perspective. NOFA-NY and the Cornell Vegetable Program will discuss what they are learning through the New York Farm Viability Institute funded initiative, “Best Management Practices for Long Term Profitable High Tunnel Soil Fertility and Health."
