FreshBox Farms featured on Innovations TV
FreshBox Farms is grown locally and delivered to supermarkets around the greater Boston region. With an experienced group of scientists, engineers, and people dedicated to make sustainable growing future, FreshBox Farms cultivated produce with health, taste, and value in mind.
“We are very excited to be part of the Innovations series. Our technology is helping to transform the way food is grown and the way people eat, and we look forward to share what we do with a wider audience that is interested in this type of science” (Sonia Lo, CEO).
FreshBox Farms can grow over 30 different types of plants. At present, consumers are provided with leafy greens, such as heirloom lettuces, arugula, spinach and herbs. In addition to exploring what is grown and how it is transported, the shows will also educate about FreshBox Farms’ clean-environment growing containers, and how they are used to control environment hydroponics to create perfect produce.
“We look forward to exploring FreshBox Farms, how and what they grow, and how they play a role in controlling environmental hydroponics,” said Jennifer Tierney, Senior Producer for the series.
