Visser will be celebrating their 50 year anniversary and would like to invite you to celebrate. This summer Visser will be hosting a number of Open Days from the 12th to the 16th of June to show what Visser is all about in 2017.
In 1967 Visser sold its first machine: the soilblocker. The following years proved to be very exciting with the development of many first time ever machines. Visser was becoming so overwhelmed with orders that in 1984 a local paper headline read: 'We won’t be innovating anything any time soon!' A good thing that ambition didn’t last long. 50 years later Visser now has a full product range for horticulture and is not planning to slow down. Visser also saw the opportunity to develop techniques in other industries such as Fresh Produce, Hatcheries and Food Logistics. Together these business units became known as Viscon Group, which today continuously aims to innovate in new ways.
Live demonstrations & exclusive tours
The Visser team welcomes you to visit their open days and learn everything about what Visser is all about today. During the open days, Visser will showcase more than 40 machines with live demonstrations. Visser also launches the revolutionary cutting transplanting system ‘Autostix’, as well as the unveiling of the newest TIFS (replugging machine) and the Vision transplanter. Separate demonstrations will be available on Hydroponics and Multi Layer Growing. You can also enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the entire Viscon Group.
New product launch: AutoStix
With the 50 year anniversary comes the first time launch of the cutting transplanting system ‘Autostix’. Visser introduces in collaboration with Visser Supplies a fully automated cutting strip transplanter, fit for both high volumes and smaller batches. With live demonstrations, this system, already introduced in the US in partnership with Ball Horticultural Company, will flex its muscles showing you how the 11,000 cuttings per hour system can automatically transplant any cutting with its new concept.
