Pursuant to rule 3796:2-2-01 of the Administrative Code, the Department of Commerce has developed a list of pesticides approved for use by licensed medical marijuana cultivators. As no pesticides are currently approved at the federal level for use on cannabis, the Department has conducted research on pesticides approved by other states for use in the cultivation of medical marijuana. The list contains pesticides approved by the Department as a result of that research.
