Changes in Codema's Board of Directors
A new direction
According to Maarten de Jager, the ideal Board of Directors is not too big, diverse in its composition and focused on a clear objective. Well-functioning teams consist of people who complement each other and provide a counterbalance. With the arrival of Marcel Koolen as General manager, de Jager believes that he has taken an important step and he is convinced that Codema, under the daily management of Marcel Koolen together with Lennard van der Ham (CFO) and Gideon de Jager (CCO and Statutory Director), is ready for a successful future.
“After almost 25 years, I find it necessary to make room and appoint a new member of the board. I am pleased that we can add an experienced board member to a team of already 150 enthusiastic and skilled employees. I am confident that Codema, under the management of a three-person board, will have a successful future.”, says Maarten de Jager.
Marcel Koolen
Marcel has more than 25 years of experience in managing (inter-)national organizations, that take and implement maintenance, replacement, and new construction projects of great public interest. Marcel has worked in infrastructure, drinking water supply and energy generation.
De Jager is committed to continue his connection to Codema Systems Group in the role of Commissioner in the coming years. He also sees himself as an ambassador of the company and the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector. De Jager concludes with a quote from Albert Einstein: "Do not try to be a man of success, rather try to be a man of value."
