US (NV): MedMen greenhouse gets off ground

MedMen Mustang, the 45,000-square-foot cultivation and manufacturing project just outside Reno, Nevada, received its building permit recently clearing the way for structures to start going up on the site, including a state-of-the-art greenhouse imported from Holland.

Construction is expected to be completed this summer and operations should begin shortly after. The facility will include a 26,000-square-foot greenhouse, and a 19,000-square-foot extraction and production wing with a high-tech test lab. It will be one of the most advanced cultivation and production facilities in Nevada's burgeoning cannabis market and expected to produce 10,000 pounds of high quality cannabis annually when it reaches full capacity.
