Dutch police raids large marijuana nursery in commercial greenhouse

About 400 marijuana cuttings en 2500 plants were found at a large commercial greenhouse operation in Made, Holland this week.

The police got wind of the nursery on the Plukmadesweg because of a tip. The place got raid last Tuesday. The owner of the complex, a 56 year old man from Made, a 52 year old woman from Made, and a 41 year old woman without known residence have been arrested.

From flower beds to flower power
The greenhouse (2,4 Ha) was previously used for growing bedding plants and poinsettias and was sold to a new owner last year. According to the police the nursery was very professional. Electricity was tapped illegally.

Seized
Marijuana cuttings, motherplants, plants and harvested marijuana have all been seized by the police. In total the police found about 400 cuttings and about 2500 plants. The dried hemp was taken away and has yet to be weighed, but the estimate is a couple of dozen kilo's. All equipment has been taken away and will be destroyed. The police further seized a car, a motorcycle, and mower. The case is under further investigation.
