A musical ode to the cucumber

If a reggae artist brings an ode to a green plant that thrives in greenhouses, it is unlikely that it's about vegetables - but this time it's really the case. In a video British artist Macka B praises the cucumber.

Macka B is one of the most famous reggae artists worldwide and notably in the UK and of course in reggae country Jamaica, he has built a successful career. And not only that - he is also very fond of healthy food.

"Packed with vitamins and minerals, good for hair and nails and tasty in a drink", as Macka raps about cucumbers in a video which he posted on Facebook. It is not the first time that Macka B is enthusiastically praising vegetables and fruits. On Monday it is Medical Monday on his Facebook page and on Wednesday Wha me eat Wednesday and then he brings a musical tribute to a vegan product. For example see here how fond Macka is of soft fruit or sing along with his banana song.

The remix of Macka's cucumber song is now also on iTunes. "Cheaper than a cucumber!" according to the artist himself.
