Premier Tech Horticulture opens new US facility
This facility now produces new PRO-MIX bark-based growing media products for both professional growers and retail markets.
For commercial greenhouses and nursery growers, we offer a choice of three new medium weight PRO-MIX peat/bark-based blends. Each new PRO-MIX product contains various amounts of partially composted and aged southern pine bark, Canadian sphagnum peat moss and other ingredients, depending on the product formulation. These blends provide low water retention, high drainage, good air porosity and added bulk density for container stability.

PRO-MIX BK25 contains 25% processed bark, Canadian sphagnum peat moss and perlite, and is ideal for greenhouse crops grown in bedding trays to medium size containers.
PRO-MIX BK55 contains 55% processed bark, Canadian sphagnum peat moss and perlite. It is slightly heavier, has a coarser texture, and is suitable for large greenhouse containers, garden mums and perennials grown outdoors.
PRO-MIX NCX contains 85% processed pine bark as well as peat and sand to form a heavy weight blend suitable for nursery container production. All blends are high quality, pH-adjusted and contain a starter nutrient charge to help plants acclimate after planting.
PRO-MIX BK25 and PRO-MIX BK55 are offered in 2.8 cu ft loose fill bags, 60 cu ft bulk bags and bulk truckload deliveries.
PRO-MIX NCX is offered in 60 cu ft bulk bags and bulk truckload deliveries. The smaller size 2.8 cu ft bags and larger 60 cu ft bulk bags will service markets from Eastern to Central US.
Deliveries of products in loose bulk trucks will service regions within 300 miles of Mattaponi, VA.
